Zavala, the quiet south side of Hvar
A small village by the sea, reached by crossing the island and travelling down to its southern coast. Pebble beaches, little coves and wide Adriatic views await below.
A village at its own pace
The water is clear and the coast is made for swimming and snorkelling. A lit path connects parts of the village in the evening. Zavala has a small shop and a few restaurants.
The day ends with the crickets and a soft sea breeze.
